These drawings were originally pocket book studies of movement, atmosphere and an attempt to capture the spirit of an event and as serve as a personal archive of nights out. Getting a satisfying snapshot photograph of performances can be a distracting and disappointing exercise, and by breaking free from the glow of the back of a digital camera or phone, these gig doodles offer an alternative record of events.
